Maryland Driver Charged In Pennsylvania Hit-And-Run Injuring Elderly Woman A Maryland driver accused of hitting a 75-year-old woman and a dog with his car before fleeing the scene has turned himself in, Manheim Township Police announced on Thursday, Dec. 5. John Paul Michels, 39, surrendered to authorities following an October 21, 2024, incident on the 100 block of River Drive in Lancaster Township.
