A public works building exploded on Wednesday morning, July 5 in Central Pennsylvania, authorities say. Six homes were evacuated when a propane leak caused an explosion at the public works storage building behind the township's office building on 971 North Colebrook Road in Rapho Township, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications Emergency Dispatch. A falling tree left a 12-year-old boy dead in Pennsylvania over the weekend, according to a fundraiser launched on behalf of his grieving family. A man asking police to shoot him while standing on top of a car on the Susquehanna River was missing after police did what he asked -- only after he threatened a woman with a hunting knife, WGAL reports citing the Dauphin County DA. The woman and a child, who were with him in the car in the river, were rescued from the car by authorities in Harrisburg near the Dock Street Dam around 3:30 a.m., the outlet said.
