A 32-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer in Upper Macungie Township, officials announced. Krishan Kumar, of Upper Macungie, was pronounced dead at 8:06 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, at the scene on State Route 100 and Schaefer Run Road, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Kumar was the passenger in a vehicle that collided with a tractor-trailer. His cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries from the crash, and the manner of death was ruled an accident. Easton Man Injured In Hit-And-Run When Thrown From Electric Cycle: Police
A 27-year-old Easton man was injured in a hit-and run crash after he was thrown from his electric cycle, police said. The crash happened when a dark-colored sedan that was northbound on Cetronia Road turned left onto Werley Road directly in front of the Easton man's electric cycle at 6:54 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Upper Macungie Township Police Department. The injured cyclist was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, police said. The extent of his injuries wasn't disclosed. The Lehigh County Coroner was called to an Upper Macungie Township home on Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to authorities. There was a large police presence in the area of the 200 block of Kristin Lane, according to 6abc News. Calls placed by Daily Voice to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Upper Macungie Township Police Department confirmed those authorities were at the location, but no further details were available at the time this story was published. Motorcycle Passenger Killed In Lehigh County Tractor Trailer Crash
A 49-year-old motorcycle passenger died in a crash with a tractor trailer in Lehigh County. Kerri Sodl, of Trexlertown, was riding on the bike that collided with the truck around 11 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of Trexlertown Road in Upper Macungie Township, according to the Lehigh County Coronor's Office. Sodl was pronounced dead at 1:22 a.m. Wednesday, by Deputy Coroner Cassandra Schiffner. Sodl's Facebook page says she previously lived in Emmaus. The incident is being investigated by the Upper Macungie Township Police Department.

NJ Man Dies 2 Weeks After Lehigh County Crash
A 60-year-old New Jersey man has died two weeks after being injured in a car accident in Lehigh County, PA, according to news reports. The driver has been identified as Virgil Harrison of Avenel, Middlesex County, by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He died at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, NJ.com reports.
