A 13-year-old child was found dead in Shippensburg has been identified by his family late on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Levi James Maciejewski "went to be in the arms of Jesus" on Tuesday, Aug. 20, his family wrote in a statement. Pennsylvania State Police had been called to investigate the death of the 13-year-old in the 300 block of Britton Road in Shippensburg around 2:08 p.m. on Aug. 20, as Daily Voice previously reported. The Ridley Park dad died on Wednesday, Feb. 7, just two days after he and his wife Marlegnne welcomed their infant son, Roosevelt Axel, said loved ones on GoFundMe. Family Killed In Philadelphia House Fire Gets Support From Community
A Pennsylvania family is turning to the community for support after eight children and four adults were confirmed dead in a fire that swept through a Philadelphia rowhouse early Wednesday morning. Nearly $80,000 had been raised on a GoFundMe for the loved ones of the deceased as of Thursday afternoon. According to the page, 13 people died.
