A Maryland woman is raising money for her 4-year-old grandson who lost his Philadelphia mother in a fatal crash on Interstate 295 in South Jersey. Anghel Ashmeade of Columbia, MD, said on a GoFundMe page that she's fundraising in memory of her 37-year-old daughter, Cassandra Ashmeade. Connecticut Couple Killed In Pennsylvania Crash, Bucks County DA Says
The pair killed in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Bristol Township over the weekend has been identified as a husband and wife from Brooklyn, Connecticut. Richard and Rebecca Whiddon, 37 and 33, were passengers in a Nissan that was struck near the corner of Veterans Highway and Ford Road on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24, Daily Voice reported. I-78 Crash: Multi-Vehicle Accident In Northampton County
Multiple cars were involved in a wreck on Interstate 78 near Hellertown on Friday afternoon, Feb. 16, according to PennDOT. It happened between Exit 67 to Hellertown/Bethlehem and Exit 60B to South 4th Street, the department said. A lane restriction is in effect as of 2:50 p.m., officials said. It's not yet clear if anyone was injured.

Man Killed After Crashing Into Tree: Lehigh County Coroner
A Weisenberg Township man was killed Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 30 when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. It happened on the 8000 block of Holbens Valley Road around 1:15 p.m., officials said. Christopher M. Baines was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries, said Coroner Dan Buglio. HIs death was ruled accidental. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, according to the release.

Police ID 19-Year-Old Killed In Philadelphia Crash
A 19-year-old man was killed and an 18-year-old man hospitalized in a Philadelphia crash early Saturday, Dec. 23, police said. Kyle Prince Joselin was heading north in a 2009 black Chevrolet Cobalt on the 10000 block of Academy Road when he lost control around 12:55 a.m., city police said. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, authorities said. A child has been taken to a trauma center after being struck by a vehicle, Chambersburg police announced on Friday. The child "[accidentally] ran onto the roadway and was struck by a passing motorist," on Dec. 8, as written in the police release. Police officers in Delaware County, PA were involved in a fiery crash during a traffic stop early Saturday, Nov. 11, on I-95, police said. A motorcyclist crashed and died during a pursuit with Pennsylvania State Police in Chester County overnight, the agency said. Troopers began pursuing the motorcycle around 1:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, eastbound on the US 30 bypass when the 31-year-old motorcyclist got off the limited access highway at a high rate of speed, PSP Trooper James Grothey said.
