A man in a wheelchair was badly hurt after being hit by a runaway driver early Friday, June 21, Philadelphia police say. The victim was struck near Vine and Franklin streets minutes after midnight, authorities said in a release. Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. A pedestrian died on Tuesday afternoon, June 18 after being struck by a driver in Norristown, police say. The victim was hit at West Main and Stanbridge streets just before noon and pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later, said city officials. Authorities did not report his name. A motorcyclist died in a crash in Montgomery County Saturday evening, June 15, despite attempts from an on-scene nurse and EMTs to save them. The Kawasaki operator had gotten in a collision with a Hyundai Tucson around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of South Henderson Road before the motorcyclist hit a telephone pole, local police said. Police Name ATV Rider Killed In Philadelphia Crash
Authorities have identified the ATV rider who died in a North Philadelphia wreck on Thursday night, June 13. Michael Anthony Pembleton was headed south on Broad Street when his ATV hit the passenger side of a Subaru near Westmoreland Street, PPD said. Pembleton, 35, was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 9 p.m., city police said. The driver of the Subaru remained on the scene and no arrests have been made, officials said. An investigation is underway.

One person has died after a crash involving a state police car early Friday morning, June 14. Troopers were driving south on Christopher Columbus Boulevard responding to a separate incident around 1:30 a.m., authorities said. At the intersection with Race Street, a northbound Mazda pickup truck "made an illegal left turn" into the path of the state police car, according to officials. A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours. The crash remains under investigation and anyone who witnessed it is asked to call 610-269-0263 or email traffic@downingtown.org.

Sen. John Fetterman Involved In Maryland Car Crash
Senator John Fetterman's office said he and his wife Giselle were in a two-car crash on Sunday morning, June 9. Maryland State Police said it happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Interstate 68 in Hancock. Fetterman was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe that struck the rear of a Chevrolet Impala "for unknown reasons," troopers said. "Out of an abundance of caution, they were evaluated at a local hospital," a spokesperson said. Coroner Names Driver Killed In Williams Township Crash
A 25-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Thursday morning, June 6, authorities say. Rashon Christian-James Cooke of Philadelphia crashed at the corner of Berger and Diehl roads in Williams Township, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. According to state police, Cooke was headed west on Diehl when his truck left the roadway, struck an embankment, and then hit a traffic sign before overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the Coroner's Office added.

Deadly Crash In Caernarvon Township Shuts Down Road: Officials
At least one person has died in an accident on Morgantown Road Thursday morning, June 6, say Caernarvon police. Drivers should avoid Morgantown Road/Route 10 from Elverson Road to Ranck Road, authorities said in a release. The road will be closed "for an extended time period," they added.
