A Pennsylvania man wanted by police on aggravated assault charges killed himself when the US Marshals Service showed up at his door, authorities said. The body of 27-year-old Del Harvey was found inside a home on East High Street in Pottstown around 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark told Daily Voice. Authorities ID Inmate Who Died By Suicide At Bucks County Jail: Report
The third inmate to die by suicide at the Bucks County Correctional Facility this year has been identified. Floyd Harper, 37, of Tullytown, hanged himself inside the jail, LevittownNow reports citing the Bucks County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead Sunday, July 3, by medical workers at the facility, said James O' Malley, Deputy Director of Communications. Officers responded to the 400 block of State Street around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16 on a report of a domestic assault, Hamburg Police Chief Anthony Kuklinski said. A police lieutenant who took his own life over the weekend in his New Jersey home is being remembered as a devoted dad and exemplary officer. Hamilton Police Lt. Mark Horan died Saturday, April 30 in his home. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NJ Advance Media reports. Horan joined Hamilton's force in 1998 and assigned to the patrol division.
