A man was arrested after assaulting a woman in York County, authorities said. A woman allegedly told police that Juan Rodriguez, 34, strangled her and sat on top of her after an argument erupted when she went to a home on West Harrisburg Street to pick up personal items around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, according to Carroll Township police. The victim claims Rodriguez also hit her and kicked her in the face while she was on the ground, police said. A 19-year-old man sought in the alleged assault of a pregnant woman was captured this week in Reading, authorities said. Ivan Perez was wanted in connection with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a pregnant woman and her 2-year-old son, according to the Berks County Sheriff's Office. He was arrested on Wednesday, April 13, after deputies spotted him driving on the 1300 block of North 11th Street and began following him, they said. A Lehigh Valley police officer was attacked while responding to a break-in call last week, LehighValleyLive reports. Allentown resident Isaiah Dion Mosley, 29, tried to break through the door of an apartment on the 2300 block of Main Street in Northampton Borough around 3 p.m. Friday, the outlet said citing court records. A central Pennsylvania man called 911 and confessed to murdering his wife on Tuesday morning, according to Pennsylvania state police. Ronald Leonard Kachinski, 76, of Seven Valleys, called police to inform them that he had killed his wife at their home located in the 1100 block of Alta Vista Way in Springfield Township shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to police and court documents. A central Pennsylvania man is wanted for two crimes in two counties, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police. Tyston Fickes, 19, of Fayetteville, is wanted by police after fleeing speeds over 90 miles per hour during an attempted arrest for strangulation on Nov. 30 just before 5 p.m., according to the release. Suburban Philly Man Chokes Headbuts Woman, Spits In Her Face, Police Say
A 35-year-old Suburban Philly man was arrested for choking a woman and then spitting in her face Saturday, police said. The victim told authorities that John R. Logan choked her around the neck, head butted her and the spat in her face on the 100 block of N Third Street around 4:35 p.m., Oxford police said. Logan was charged with strangulation and taken to Chester Chester Prison for arraignment.

Gabby Petito Cause Of Death Revealed
The Teton County Coroner's Office on Tuesday released the cause of death of Gabby Petito. Dr. Brent Blue said the cause of death was strangulation and the manner was homicide. The 22-year-old Long Island native was killed three or four weeks before her body was found on Sept. 19, Blue said. Petito was last seen with boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23, who was identified as a person of interest when he returned home in Petito's van without her.
