Dorney Park Operator Cedar Fair To Merge With Six Flags Cedar Fair, the owner of Allentown's Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom amusement park, will merge with Six Flags, company leaders announced Thursday, Nov. 2.  The combined company will operate 42 parks and nine resorts across 17 states as well as Canada and Mexico and is valued at around $8 billion, according to management.  Under the terms of the deal, Cedar Fair unitholders will own about 51.2 percent of the newly merged company, while the remaining 48.8 percent will be owned by Six Flags shareholders.  Company leaders said Cedar Fair's and Six Flags' existing po…
