A Downingtown man robbed a Haverford bank on Thursday afternoon with his unwitting mother waiting in the getaway car, according to township police. Authorities say Glen Allen Mokshefski arrived at the Santander Bank, 116 W. Township Line Road, around 11 a.m. on Oct. 26. He fled the bank with an "undetermined sum of U.S. currency" and was seen getting into a gray Mitsubishi Mirage with an "elderly white female" in the passenger seat, Haverford police said. Bank Robber Bails Halfway Through Heist In Eastern PA, Police Say
A would-be bank robber got cold feet and fled before taking his cash, say Yeadon Borough police. It happened at the Santander Bank at 115 Chester Avenue on Tuesday, July 18, authorities said in a release. The suspect walked in around 2:20 p.m. and handed a note to a teller demanding cash, investigators believe. When the teller "delayed," the man walked out without a dime, according to police. A man facing eviction had his cousin drive him to rob a Santander Bank in Palmer Township — which happened as another Santander Bank across town was also robbed, according to police and news reports. It was not immediately clear if the incidents on Thursday, Jan. 26 were related. Cleon H. Edwards, 55, of Forks Township, allegedly told his 25-year-old Jalissa Cummings he needed rent money, Lehigh Valley Live reports. A 22-year-old man was arrested after turning himself in to police weeks after allegedly robbing a bank in Abington Township. Moliere Joseph walked into the Santander Bank on Old York Road and gave a demand note to the tellers on Thursday, Feb. 10, Abington Township police said. Police did not specify how much money was stolen. "Detectives spent weeks trying to track down Moliere, who did not have a fixed address," police said. Easton Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed At Allentown Motel
A man wanted for allegedly robbing a bank in Easton was found and arrested at an Allentown motel Wednesday morning, police said. The US Marshalls Fugitive task force took Daniel Buzzone, 36, into custody at the Knights Inn in Allentown (1880 Steelstone Rd.) around 9:15 a.m., Easton Police Lt. Matthew Gerould confirmed. Buzzone is accused of robbing Santander Bank on North 3rd Street just before 12:35 p.m. on Sept. 22, police said. He has been charged with two counts of robbery and terroristic threats. Buzzone is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, Gerould said.

Feds: Halfway House Runaway Gets 6½ Years For Eastern PA Bank Robbery Spree
A 53-year-old man who was on parole when he ran away from a halfway house was sentenced to 78 months in prison, three years of supervised release and ordered to pay more than $6,700 in restitution for a spree of bank robberies in Southeaster Pennsylvania last year, federal authorities said.
