Easton Motorcyclist, 43, Dies In Route 78 Crash In NJ
A 43-year-old motorcyclist from Pennsylvania was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey, police said. Rayvaughn Webster, of Easton, was heading west on a Harley Davidson when the motorcycle overturned around 9:45 p.m. at milepost 48 in Springfield Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. Webster died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

A 45-year-old Easton, PA man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 10:04 p.m., a BMW motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Greenwich Township struck the back of a 2017 Toyota Camry, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was ejected and was subsequently struck by a 2020 Toyota Camry, killing him, Marchan said. PA Driver, 48, Seriously Hurt In Early-Morning Route 78 Crash: State Police
A 48-year-old Pennsylvania man was seriously injured in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey overnight, police said. The Coplay driver lost control in Clinton Township around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, March 31 and ran off the roadway to the right, hitting a guardrail near on the westbound side, New Jersey State Police said. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The accident remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

Man Killed In Route 78 Crash: Coroner
A 64-year-old New York driver was killed in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County, New Jersey on Sunday, March 10, authorities said. At 5:43 p.m., Carmen Berretta, of Albany, NY, collided with another vehicle on Route 78 eastbound in Pohatcong Township, the Lehigh County, PA Coroner's Office said. Berretta was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he died of his injuries at 10:04 p.m., the coroner's office said. The coroner's office and New Jersey State Police are investigating the crash.

Serious Crash Shuts All Lanes On Portion Of Route 78
A serious crash brought a large emergency response to Route 78 early Sunday, Nov. 12. The crash happened in Union (Hunterdon Count) on the westbound side of the highway near Exit 11. All lanes were closed as of 8:30 a.m. Daily Voice has reached out to New Jersey State Police for details.

The latest forecast has increased the amount of snow in what's expected to be the first winter storm headed to the region Monday, Feb. 27.
