UPDATE: The alleged thieves who stole a vehicle and caused a chase that seriously hurt two Pennsylvania state troopers have been identified as the following Brooklyn, NY men, according to a PSP release on Monday, May 22. Latrell White, 22-years-old. Terrence Caton, 26-years-old. Julien Fleury, 27-years-old. All three have been denied bail, according to their court dockets. Portion Of Route 581 Reopens After SWAT Standoff
A SWAT standoff closed a portion of Route 581 in Cumberland County Friday afternoon. The suspect was in a vehicle on the shoulder of a highway, closing PA-581 eastbound between Exit 2 and Exit 5 in Hampden Township as of 2 p.m., initial reports say. According to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's traffic cameras, the scene has cleared and the roadway has reopened. Circumstances about the incident remain unclear.
