Thousands Gather For Funeral Of Turkish Dissident Fethullah Gulen Who Died In PA Hundreds of people gathered at Skylands Ballpark for the funeral of Fethullah Gulen, a prominent Turkish Muslim cleric, who inspired a movement in his native country, on Thursday, Oct. 24. The funeral in Frankford Township caused delays in the area, with Sussex County Sheriff Michael Strada asking drivers to avoid the intersections of Route 15, 206, 565 and the surrounding area during the funeral. 22-Year-Old Cyclist Killed In Route 206 Crash Was Recent NYU Swimmer Damian Baranowski, a 22-year-old cyclist from Pennsylvania, was killed while riding his bicycle in New Jersey, authorities said. Massive Load Of Concrete Debris Dumped Near Rt. 206 In Sussex County, Police Say Police are seeking the public’s help tracking down the person who dumped a massive load of concrete debris near Route 206 in Sussex County. The load was dumped on the shoulder of Brighton Road near Route 206 in Andover Township, local police said in a Sunday afternoon release. The load appears to consist of “old portions of a wall or facade with a distinct stamped pattern,” police said. Click here to view additional photos. Police responding to a report of an erratic driver on Route 206 found Ronald E. Whitaker slumped over the steering wheel at the Shell gas station in Stanhope on Oct. 30, Byram Township police said in a Wednesday release. Kyle D. Smith, of Newton, crashed head-on into another car on Route 206 near Whitehall Hill Road on Feb. 12, Byram Township Police said.
