Six months after a 14-year-old was hit and killed crossing Street Road in Bensalem, police say they caught the driver who fled the scene. A car wreck shut down a portion of Route 1 in East Marlborough Township on Tuesday afternoon, officials told Daily Voice. The northbound lanes of the Route 1 bypass near the Route 82/Unionville Road overpass were briefly closed on Nov. 21, Chester County authorities said. The roadway was reopened by 4 p.m., they added.
