The man accused of killing a South Philadelphia mother late last year was arrested by US Marshals in Kensington early Thursday, Feb. 22, according to authorities. Abiud Torres was taken into custody without incident on the 1800 block of Hart Lane around 6:45 a.m., said Marshal Robert Clark. On the fifth day since he snuck off from a prison work detail, US Marshals are offering a reward for Gino Hagenkotter's capture. The 34-year-old inmate was working at an orchard outside the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center when he walked off without permission before noon on Thursday, Nov. 30, Daily Voice reported. Ten days after police say two inmates escaped from a Philadelphia jail, the search is over. Ameen Hurst, 18, was taken into custody by US Marshals in West Philadelphia early on Wednesday, May 17, city Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said. Gunman Accused In Designated Driver's Philly Bar Murder Nabbed At Harrah's Atlantic City
A 47-year-old gunman accused of shooting into a Philadelphia bar and killing a 21-year-old innocent female bystander was captured by US Marshals at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City, 6abc reports.
