Fourth Person Shot In Sunday Of Violence Across Reading: Police
A fourth person was shot during a day riddled with gun violence in Reading that also left one man dead and wounded two others, authorities said.
Officers responded to the shooting on the 500 block of Franklin Street, and found Kimberly Collazo, 20, around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, Reading police said.
The victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, and is expected to survive, police said.

Four Pounds Of Meth, Fentanyl, Stolen Gun Seized In Berks County Busts: PD
An investigation by local and state law enforcement led to one arrest and the seizure of several pounds of drugs, cash, and stolen gun, authorities in Berks County said.
Viccasey Garcia, 35, of West Reading was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 8 after the Reading Police Department, Berks County District Attorney Drug Task Force and Pennsylvania State Police found the items during a search of two homes linked to him, they said.
The warrants were served at a house on N 6th Avenue in West Reading and the other on the 1800 block of Scindo Court in Muhlenberg Township, authorities said.

Man, 18, Stabbed Dead During Fight In Reading City Park: Police
An 18-year-old man was stabbed dead in a Berks County park, authorities said.
Jose E. Rosa-Ramos was stabbed during a fight on N 11th Street and Washington Street in Reading City Park around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, according to the Reading Police Department.
He was taken to Reading Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police say the stabbing was the result of an "ongoing dispute" between some of the people involved in the fight. During the fight, other people, including the victim, became involved.

PA Man Justified In Shooting, Killing Son Who Threatened Him With Knife, DA Says
A Pennsylvania man had no choice but to shoot his son who threatened him with a large knife, authorities in Berks County said.
Alexis Martinez, 38, had been drinking when he threw a glass beer bottle at his dad and threatened him with a knife and another weapon inside a North Front Street home in Reading on Saturday, Aug. 13, Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams said.
During the confrontation, the unidentified dad took out his firearm and shot his son, who had a history of assaultive behavior and mental health issues, the DA said.
