Jumbo Tron Part Of Funeral Details Released For PA Officer Shot In The Line Of Duty
Funeral details have been released for Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman who died months after he was shot in the line of duty. The 31-year-old officer was two weeks away from his seventh anniversary with PPD when he died, Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said. He served in the 24th and 25th districts. He is survived by his wife and three children. Officer Jaime Roman had been in a coma at Temple University Hospital following a shooting on July 22, 2024. Pennsylvania State Troopers Injured In Fatal Philly Crash: Officials
One person has died after a crash involving a state police car early Friday morning, June 14. Troopers were driving south on Christopher Columbus Boulevard responding to a separate incident around 1:30 a.m., authorities said. At the intersection with Race Street, a northbound Mazda pickup truck "made an illegal left turn" into the path of the state police car, according to officials. The driver of the Mazda was fatally injured and the two troopers were taken to Jefferson Hospital with "moderate injuries," authorities said. They have since been discharged. An investigation…

Montco Kidnapping Suspect Arrested In Philadelphia: US Marshals
A traffic stop in West Philadelphia on Wednesday, March 27 ended in the arrest of a kidnapping suspect, said US Marshals. Rakim Brown-Rowe, 35, was pulled over on the 6300 block of Race Street and taken into custody, according to authorities. Marshals said Brown-Rowe was wanted in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Upper Merion on March 13. Court records say he's also charged with felony burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. Brown-Rowe, of King of Prussia, is being held on $99,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 3.&nb…

MMA Fighter Dragged Through Philadelphia Streets By Carjackers (

An MMA fighter is recovering after carjackers dragged him through the streets of Philadelphia. Egor Kostyuchenko, 25, was picking up food for his side gig as a food delivery driver, and left his 2008 Mercedes C300 running with keys in the ignition and driver's side window rolled down just after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, according to police and those who knew him. Three men jumped inside of the car on the at 1000 block of Cherry Street, and drove down Race Street.
