Rapper Phat Geez Killed In North Philadelphia: Authorities Detectives are investigating the murder of a popular rapper in Philadelphia on Sunday night, March 17.  Derrick Gant, who performs under the stage name Phat Geez, was shot multiple times on the 1200 block of North Taney Avenue, according to city police.  Authorities said it happened around 10:15 p.m. Gant was found lying in the street and was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where he died at 10:30 p.m., police said.  Fellow rapper and Philadelphian Meek Mill memorialized Gant on X, formerly known as Twitter.  Rip phat geez…..Philly is a terrible place for black people to live… you see t…

Philly Gas Station Killing: Three Suspects Sought Authorities in Philadelphia are looking to identify three men wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 66-year-old gas station attendant earlier this week. The incident happened around 4 a.m. at the Exxon station on 7150 Torresdale Avenue.
