Man Killed In Route 78 Crash: Coroner A 64-year-old New York driver was killed in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County, New Jersey on Sunday, March 10, authorities said. At 5:43 p.m., Carmen Berretta, of Albany, NY, collided with another vehicle on Route 78 eastbound in Pohatcong Township, the Lehigh County, PA Coroner's Office said.  Berretta was taken to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he died of his injuries at 10:04 p.m., the coroner's office said.  The coroner's office and New Jersey State Police are investigating the crash.

Officers responding to the theft report at the parking lot of Aldi in Pohatcong Township were told by the victim that a Hispanic man had just approached her while she was inside her car outside ShopRite in Greenwich Township on Thursday, April 21. The man, who the victim said spoke limited English, was holding lugnuts and told her that he believed they had come off of her car, police said. Arson: Suspects Sought After Using Gas To Cause Explosion At North Jersey Business, Police Say Police are seeking the public’s help identifying three suspected arsonists who used gas to start a fire and cause an explosion at a North Jersey business. The suspects, pictured above, intentionally set fire to the unnamed Pohatcong Township business after purchasing gas at the local QuickChek, authorities said Thursday afternoon. The man in the blue jacket without the Hilfiger symbol may have been injured in the explosion, police said. All of the men were last seen running on Russell Avenue toward South Main Street.
