Pittsburgh Road Closures For Funeral Procession Honoring Chief Walsh
The City of Pittsburgh is advising motorists of road closures and transit detours planned for Monday, Nov. 25, during the funeral procession and Funeral Mass for Battalion Chief John P. Walsh. A Funeral Mass honoring Chief Walsh, who died in the line of duty last week, will take place at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Cathedral on North Dithridge Street in Oakland. Nine People Hurt In Head-On Bus Crash Near UPitt Campus: Police
Nine people have been hurt in a bus crash involving a Jeep near the University of Pittsburgh campus, authorities say. Emergency crews were called to Allequippa Street and Sutherland Drive near the Petersen Events Center on Pitt's campus in Oakland on Wednesday, Nov. 9 around 11 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers. Train Car Catches Fire In Pittsburgh (

Half a dozen people were inside a railcar when it catch fire on Wednesday, August 31, authorities say. The fire broke out between the T station and the South Hills Village light rail station around 2 p.m., according to Pittsburgh Regional Transit. The fire was caused by overhead powering, PRT says.
