Uber Rider Robbed For $32K In North Philadelphia: Detectives City police are investigating the broad daylight robbery of a rideshare passenger in West Oak Lane on Tuesday, April 2.  It happened on the 7200 block of Ogontz Avenue around 3:15 p.m., according to PPD.  The victim, a manager at an area Rite Aid, was riding in an Uber to deliver a cash deposit of $32,000, authorities said. Man Shot Dead Near Philadelphia's La Salle University, Police Say A 40-year-old was shot and killed just blocks from La Salle University in North Philadelphia on Wednesday night, April 3, authorities told Daily Voice.  Shots rang out on the 1700 block of West Olney Avenue around 8:45 p.m., PPD said. Officers responded to find the victim with a single gunshot wound to the "lower right stomach." He was taken to Einstein Hospital and pronounced dead just after 9 p.m., according to police.  No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered as of Thursday morning, April 4, authorities said. The shooting remains under investigation.

Missing 79-Year-Old Sought In Philadelphia Police are looking for a 79-year-old woman in North Philadelphia.  Estes Lewis was last seen on the 2000 block of Westmoreland Street around 5 a.m. on Monday, April 1, authorities said.  She is 5-foot-4 and 110 pounds with a thin build, medium complexion, and brown eyes, according to police.
