Masked Gunman Kills 27-Year-Old In Philly Restaurant: Investigators
A man wearing gloves and a mask walked into a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood and shot a 27-year-old dead, according to city police. Authorities said Joel Colon-Cruz was inside a restaurant on the 700 block of East Ontario Street around 11 p.m. Monday, June 10. The gunman shot him multiple times in the head and torso and he was pronounced dead at the scene, PPD said. Anyone with information is asked to call Homicide Detectives at 215-686-3334.

An argument between two groups in Philadelphia last month led to the shooting death of an uninvolved woman, according to city police. Authorities said it happened around 4:45 p.m. on May 11, when three men were walking on the 4700 block of North Broad Street. They came across another group and "appeared to have a verbal dispute" before one man pulled out a handgun and opened fire, police said. Thieves Remove ATM From Fishtown Gas Station: Philadelphia PD
Detectives are looking for two men who stole an ATM from outside a Philadelphia gas station on Thursday morning, June 6. Police said it happened at a Karko on the 2300 block of Aramingo Avenue just before 4 a.m. The suspects backed a white Ford truck up to the storefront, loaded up the ATM, then fled south on Aramingo, authorities said. Woman Killed By Neighbor In Northeast Philly 'Dispute,' Police Say
A Tacony man is in custody after an hour-long standoff on Tuesday, June 4, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice. Authorities said they were called to the 7100 block of Montague Street just before noon for a "neighbor dispute." They arrived to find a 65-year-old woman dead with gunshot wounds, police said. Five teenagers were taken into custody after a deadly crash in North Philadelphia on Tuesday night, May 28, city police say. Authorities said the teens were driving in a stolen Kia on Front Street when they struck a motorcyclist heading west on Hunting Park Avenue.
