An East Stroudsburg shopper went to Wawa and walked out a millionaire, state officials say.
The lucky player picked up a jackpot-winning "$1,000,000 Game" scratch-off ticket from the shop at 5121 Milford Road, said Pennsylvania Lottery representatives on Thursday, April 6.
For its part, the Wawa will now receive a $5,000 bonus check, gaming officials added.

Two Pennsylvania Lottery players in Philadelphia each picked the five winning numbers in the Monday, March 13 Lottery Cash 5 drawing, state officials say.
Both lucky players selected the same sequence of digits — 12-21-27-34-37 — to win the $350,000 jackpot in the drawing, lottery representatives said. What's more, both players bought their tickets in the city's Northeast section, about a 10-minute from each other.

A customer at a Stroudsburg corner store picked up a winning lottery ticket worth $600,000 early this week, state officials say.
It happened at Stroud Smoke Shop, 1115 North 9th St., lotto representatives said. The lucky winner matched all five balls pulled in the Monday, March 6 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing to walk away with $600,000 before taxes, they added.
