911 Knocked Out Across PA Due To Verizon Outage: Officials
More than a dozen Pennsylvania counties experienced loss of access to 911 services due to a Verizon outage on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 7 and 8, state officials say. Soggy Start To Spring After Saturday Severe Storms In PA
Thundershowers move in Saturday morning ushering in a soggy start to spring in Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service. Spring will officially arrive at 11:33 a.m. on Sunday, but it will be muddy as the previous 24 hours will have scattered storms, according to Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency State Meteorologist Jeff Jumper. Mennonite Disaster Service, PA Task Force 1 Members Set To Kentucky For Hurricane Relief
Members of The Pennsylvania Task Force 1 Urban Search & Rescue have been deployed to Kentucky to assist in response and recovery efforts after the deadly tornadoes over the weekend, according to a statement released by Gov. Tom Wolf. “Waking up to see the terrible images of destruction in Kentucky and other states doesn’t compare to living it,” Gov.
