Driver Killed, Trolley Operator Hurt In Fiery SEPTA Crash: Authorities A driver died after crashing his car into a SEPTA trolley in West Philadelphia late on Thursday, Sept. 21, authorities told Daily Voice.  The wreck happened around 8:20 p.m. near the corner of Lansdowne Avenue and North 59th Street in Overbrook, city police said.  Twenty-year-old Ahmir Lesean Henry was headed west on Lansdowne in a Dodge Charger when authorities said he ran a red light and T-boned the trolley. Firefighters Battle Early-Morning Blaze In Philadelphia First responders in Philadelphia spent hours extinguishing a blaze at a restaurant on the city's west side on Wednesday, Sept. 6, according to authorities.  PFD was called to the Italian Kitchen Pizzeria, 2035 N 63rd St. in Overbrook, around 5:20 a.m., the department said on Twitter.  Photos from the scene appeared to show smoke and flames rising from the rear of the building. Officials said it took more than 65 firefighters about three hours to get the blaze under control. No injuries were reported by authorities.

Philly Trio Shot At Driver For Turning Down Wrong Lane: Police Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects they say opened fire at a driver who turned into the wrong lane.  Investigators said the driver was traveling northeast on 66th Street in the city's Overbrook section at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 when they went into the wrong lane while turning left on Lebanon Avenue.  Just as the driver hit their brakes, three men walking by appeared to panic and began shooting at the car, police said.
