Officials Seek Relatives Of Late Allentown Man Lehigh County officials are asking for the public's help in finding a late Allentown man's loved ones.  Jerry Woodrow, 64, was pronounced dead on the 100 block of North 7th Street on Sunday morning, Dec. 31, according to the Coroner's Office.  His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, but there are no suspicious circumstances, said Coroner Daniel A. Arrest Made In Early Morning Allentown Stabbing: Police An arrest has been made in connection with an early Thursday morning stabbing in Allentown. Officers responded to the 700 block of North 7th Street, where they found a man with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen around 3:10 a.m., Allentown police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive, police said. A subsequent investigation led police to Christian J. Rodriguez-Pacheco, 28. He was arrested in the 800 block of North Elliger Street, according to police. He was charged with aggravated assault and simple assault.

Arrest Made In December Allentown Shooting Authorities in Allentown have arrested a man in connection with a December shooting. Police were called to the 700 block of W. Green St. on a report of shots fired on Dec. 6, they said. Responding officers found spent casings in the area. Investigators later identified Dmetrius Sanders, 21, of Allentown, as a suspect in the shooting. A warrant was issued for Sanders on charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, recklessly endangering another person, no carrying or discharging of weapons, police said. 1 Person Hospitalized In Allentown Shooting Allentown police are investigating a shooting that left one person hospitalized Thursday night. Police found the victim with gunshot wounds in the 100 block of North 7th Street around 7:50 p.m., Allentown police said. The victim was treated on scene by officers and EMS before they were sent to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, police said. The person is expected to survive. Police have declined further comment as the investigation is active and ongoing.
