Two children are in the hospital after being struck by a car, the Pottstown Chief of Police Mick Markovich told Daily Voice on Friday, Oct. 11. The collision happened near the corner of Beech and North Adams streets in Pottstown around 5:54 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. An Uber driver from Montgomery County was arrested for raping a Villanova University student who was drunk after a night out with friends, according to authorities. Mirvan Dinler, 26, of Trappe, picked the victim up at a Philadelphia nightclub in an UberX and drove her back to her dorm in Hovnanian Hall at the Radnor Township campus on Friday, Sept. 13, police paperwork reads. Dinler then followed the student back to her dorm and raped her then forced her to perform oral sex on him, the paperwork says. Routine Traffic Stop Turns Up Drugs, Cash In Montgomery County: Police
A routine traffic stop in Montgomery County led to a major drug bust, according to police. Lower Moreland officers were patrolling Welsh Road when they saw a silver Infiniti sedan, heading east with a wrongfully attached license plate on it around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, police said in a release. The vehicle was occupied by two males, among them, passenger James Nogeuras Jr., police said. Nogeuras was charged with possession with intent to deliver and intentional possession of a controlled substance.

A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. Pulley entered a guilty plea before Chief United States District Court Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg for falsely registering to vote, double voting, and election fraud, according to the USDOJ. : Lansdale Motorcyclist Killed In Bucks County, Police Say
A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Montgomery County was killed Monday, Sept. 9 in Bucks County, authorities said. Tinicum Township police were dispatched to Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle crash. The unidentified driver from Lansdale died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
