A Marshalls Creek man is charged with multiple felonies after prosecutors say he tried to pay for sex with a minor. Fred Stevenson, 68, was reported to police earlier this month by a woman who said she "frequently had sex with Stevenson" while "working as a prostitute," the Monroe County District Attorney's Office wrote in a release. The man who robbed a Monroe County convenience store wearing a clown mask and wielding a samurai sword is in police custody, court records show. William Clancy, 39, of Albrightsville was arrested Saturday, Oct. 22 by state police acting on a tip from a local resident, according to a report by LehighValleyLive.com. PA Man With Arrest Warrant, 26, Found With Meth During Motorcycle Stop In Northampton County
A Pennsylvania man with an arrest warrant was found with methamphetamine when police stopped his motorcycle in Northampton County, authorities said. Charles Patrick Chieffo II, 26, was stopped near E. Moorestown Road and Sullivan Trail in Wind Gap as officers found that his registration was expired around 4:30 p.m. on August 25, Slate Belt Regional Police said. After failing to provide registration and insurance information, Chieffo was found to have a suspended license and an active warrant out of Monroe County, police said.
