Meth Found On PA Man Wanted For Assault In NJ, Lower Saucon Police Say
A man wanted for assault in New Jersey was found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while walking in Pennsylvania, police said.
Richard Parsons, who records show had an active warrant out of Greenwich Township, NJ (unclear if Warren County or Cumberland County), flagged down police for a ride Easton Road in Lower Saucon, PA around 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 19, authorities said.
Police learned Parsons, of Perkasie, had been wanted and then found him to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, police in Lower Saucon said.

Longtime Pennsylvania Corrections Officer Dies Suddenly, 49
Leon Hill, a Lower Saucon husband and father, died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 11 while fishing in upstate New York, loved ones said in his obituary. He was 49.
Born in Fountain Hill, Hill was a corrections officer with Northampton County for 16 years at the time of his death, family members said.
Friends and colleagues took to Facebook to memorialize him.

PA Man Crushed To Death By Lawn Tractor, Coroner Says
A noted area historian has died from his injuries after being involved in a tractor accident, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
Frank Fabian, 86, was driving a lawn tractor that rolled over onto him on Sunday, Sept. 17, officials said.
He died from complications due to abdominal compression injuries early Wednesday morning, Sept. 20, according to the coroner.
Fabian, of Lower Saucon, was a long-time member of the township's Historical Society, said President and Public Relations Chair Karen Samuels.
