Man, 82, Shoots Wife In Head With .22 Caliber Rifle: Berks County DA
An 82-year-old Berks County man was arrested after shooting his wife in the head with a .22 caliber rifle, the Berks County District Attorney's Office said. Howard “Philip” Boltz, of Bethel, called police to report that he had just shot his wife in their home on Airport Road at 9:10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, according to the district attorney's office. Bensalem Man Busted With Prepubescent Child Porn, Police Say
A Bensalem man is in police custody on child pornography charges, township police say. Michael Dunbar, 55, is also charged with criminal use of a communications facility, according to authorities. Police said they received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a Google account linked to Dunbar in April. The account had saved and uploaded "numerous videos depicting child pornography, including prepubescent boys and girls engaging in sexual acts with each other," authorities said. Philadelphia Driver Drags Victim 100 Feet With Car During Argument In Bucks, Police Say
A Philadelphia man dragged a 45-year-old Bucks County resident with his car more than 100 feet across a parking lot during an argument earlier this week, authorities said. William Connolly, 44, was arguing with the Quakertown man around 5:05 p.m. in the Plumstead Shopping Center on Easton Road on Aug. 2, local police said. That's when Connolly hit the man with his car and dragged him across the lot, according to witness statements and surveillance footage.
