A suspected serial bank robber was apprehended moments after he fled the PNC Bank on Hulmeville Road with $4,000 in cash on Monday, Dec. 23, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 24. A Middletown Township man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Bucks County on Sunday, Nov. 10, according to authorities. Jonathon Benner, 34, Langhorne, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash at Bensalem Boulevard and Fernwood Avenue in Bensalem Township, the Bucks County Coroner's Office confirmed to Daily Voice. The Upper Southampton community is mourning the passing of retired Sgt. Jeffrey Delp on Wednesday, Aug. 14. He was 68 years old. He was formerly from Langhorne. After honorably serving his country as an Army MP, Sergeant, Delp joined the Upper Southampton Township Police Department in June 1979 as a patrol officer. In January 1987, Delp was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, a position he held until his retirement in June 2011 after 32 years of service. A Langhorne man is charged with possessing child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility, according to Lower Southampton police. Authorities said Paul Kerr, 78, came under investigation after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January. It's a girl! Dana Nieves gave birth to St. Mary Medical Center's first baby of the year, the hospital announced on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Bucks Woman Sought On Identity Theft Charges
A Bucks County woman is wanted on charges of identity theft after police claim she stole her grandmother's credit card. Nautica Merritt, 23, of Langhorne, is also sought for felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, according to Lower Southampton police and state court records. A federal jury found a 27-year-old Bucks County man guilty of multiple child exploitation offenses after he tried to meet an undercover FBI agent posing as an 11-year-old girl online for sex, authorities said.
