Alert Issued For Missing Lower Gwynedd Teen Possibly In Philly Police in Montgomery County are asking the public for help after a 17-year-old boy went missing. Joon "Alex" Shin was reported missing from his family's home in Lower Gwynedd on Sunday, Oct. 3, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Lower Gwynedd Township Police Chief Paul Kenny. Shin is 5' 6" tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds, authorities said.  He apparently drove away from home, but investigators believe he may have abandoned the car to take public transportation.
