Trio Wanted For Stabbing, Assault Outside Philly Venue: Authorities
Philadelphia police are looking for the group who they say attacked three others outside the Filmore earlier this month. It happened near the 29 E. Allen Street venue around 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 15, the department said. Authorities claim the trio punched one victim, causing him to fall backward and hurt his head, then stabbed another in the side and back. Both victims were taken to Jefferson Hospital, where the one who was stabbed needed emergency surgery and was placed in critical condition, PPD said. NJ Car Fire Linked To Killing Of Philadelphia Police Officer
A car fire on a New Jersey roadway has been linked to the shooting of two Philadelphia police officers that left one dead on Thursday evening, Oct. 12, authorities said. Police in South Brunswick said only that the vehicle fire extinguished on Route 32 around 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, was connected to the shooting. The vehicle fire came nearly two hours after Philadelphia Police Officers Richard Mendez and Raul Ortiz were shot at Philadelphia Airport. PA Man Killed By Car In South Jersey Loved By Many
A 45-year-old man from Pennsylvania was struck and killed by a car while walking Thursday night in South Jersey, local police said. Michael D. Geisler, of Pittsburgh, was trying to cross Greentree Road near Heritage Valley Drive when a 2015 Volkswagen heading westbound on Greentree struck him around 11:45 p.m., Washington Township police said. U.S. Marshals Capture Norristown Man Who Started Shootout That Killed Neighbor, Authorities Say
The U.S. Marshals captured a Norristown man who instigated a shootout in his neighbor's home that left a 21-year-old man dead, authorities said. Khalif Sinclair, 23, who had a warrant out for his arrest since Dec. 18, was taken into custody by U.S Marshals in Marcus Hook, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Norristown Police Chief Mark E. Talbot announced.
