US Marshals Arrest Second Escaped Inmate In Philadelphia
Ten days after police say two inmates escaped from a Philadelphia jail, the search is over. Ameen Hurst, 18, was taken into custody by US Marshals in West Philadelphia early on Wednesday, May 17, city Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said. He was arrested at the 6100 block of Washington Avenue "without incident," she wrote. US Marshals arrested one of the two inmates who escaped from a Philadelphia jail late on Thursday night, officials say. Philadelphia Woman Aided Inmates' Escape, Police Believe
A 21-year-old woman faces criminal conspiracy charges for allegedly aiding the May 7 escape of two inmates from a Philadelphia jail. Xianni Stalling of South Philadelphia was arraigned just after 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, state court filings show. City police told Daily Voice she is charged with hindering apprehension, escape, and criminal use of a communications facility in addition to conspiracy.
