Infant Shot In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A 7-month-old boy was struck by gunfire in Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood on Thursday, July 18, city police said.  It happened just before 6 p.m. on the 4000 block of Meridian Street, according to investigators. The infant was struck in the leg and taken to Nazareth Hospital where he is in stable condition, officials said.  No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, July 19 and the investigation is ongoing, PPD added.

State Police Name Carbon County Man Found In Lehigh River (Updated) A Jim Thorpe man was found dead in the Lehigh River on Monday, July 1, according to state troopers.  Authorities said 33-year-old Felix Dejesus was previously reported as missing and endangered by borough police before his remains were found around noon.  The investigation is ongoing and there is no danger to the public, state police said.  "Updates will be provided as to not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation," said Trooper Anthony Petroski of PSP's Hazleton Station in a statement on Tuesday, July 2.

First Responders Rescue Watercraft From Delaware River: Njsp First responders rescued a watercraft from the Delaware River in Burlington County on Sunday evening, June 30, authorities said. At about 5 p.m., New Jersey State Police troopers responded to a report of a personal watercraft stuck on a sandbar near Hawk Island in Delanco Township, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a NJSP spokesman. The craft was dislodged from the sandbar and escorted to a marina, Lebron said. No injuries were reported.  The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information is available, he said.
