Philadelphia police are seeking the vandal who targeted a mosque in West Oak Lane over the weekend, the department says.
It happened at Masjidullah, 7401 Limekiln Pike in West Oak Lane, late on Friday, Feb. 24, Philly police wrote in a statement. Mosque leaders posted photos to Facebook on Saturday, Feb. 25 showing crudely painted messages and images on the house of worship's doors and walls.

UPDATE: A Trenton man who threw a makeshift Molotov cocktail into a city police vehicle following a protest was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison.
Kadeem A. Dockery, 31, is the last of four defendants sentenced in U.S. District Court in connection with the May 31, 2020 protest in Trenton.
Video captured by surveillance cameras and personal cellphones helped authorities identify Dockery, who was arrested a little over two months later, and Killian F Melecio, 22, of Columbus, NJ.

A Berks County native is among the five dead following a mass shooting at a gay bar in Colorado, according to reports.
Derrick Rump, a graduate of Kutztown Area Senior High School, according to his social media pages, was killed when a gunman opened fire at Club Q in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 19, multiple media outlets report.
On his Facebook page, Rump wrote that he was a bartender at the club.

The family of a Jamaican immigrant who was shot to death in a remote Pennsylvania is speaking out about what they believe was a “modern-day lynching.”
Peter Bernardo Spencer, 29, of Pittsburgh, was found dead by Pennsylvania State Police in the front yard of a home at 279 Carls Road, Rockland Township, Venango County on Dec. 12, at 2:26 a.m., according to a release by the Venango County district attorney’s office.
Spencer had been invited by a Caucasian coworker to the cabin approximately 85 miles outside of Pittsburgh on Dec. 11, according to his family.

A Pennsylvania native was stabbed to death near his Seattle-suburb home on Sunday, according to police in Washington.
John Huynh, 29, formerly of Ephrata, was stabbed in the heart following a disagreement with a neighbor -- over wearing a face mask -- according to charging documents filed in King County Superior Court.
Huynh, two friends and his wife walked out of the Villas at Beardslee apartments in Bothell shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, according to court documents.
