State Trooper Impersonator Nabbed In Shippensburg, Police Say
A man who impersonated a Pennsylvania state police trooper while threatening people has been arrested in Shippensburg, authorities say. Elmer Lawrence Ardinger, 60, was arrested on Monday, January 9, according to a release by the Shippensburg Police on Thursday. "Ardinger was upset over a misunderstanding. Ardinger called himself Trooper Ardinger and threatened to come to the victim's location and take care of things in his trooper vehicle," the police say. Ardinger was charged with impersonating a public servant and harassment, police say and court records confirm.

Stalker Followed, Spied On Bucks Woman For 6 Years, DA Says
A Hatfield man who had stalked and harassed a Bucks County woman for over six years is going to jail, authorities say. Andrew D. Gold, 33, was convicted at trial in August and sentenced to 1-2 years plus 12 years probation at a sentencing hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 3, said Deputy District Attorney Brittney Kern in a statement. UPDATED: A 22-year-old Vineland man faces multiple charges including kidnapping after he allegedly abducted his 7-month-old daughter. The abduction triggered an Amber Alert when the father declined to turn himself in, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said on Thursday, Jan. 5. Ramon B.
