A Reading man targeted in a drug bust was found with guns, various drugs, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia, authorities said.
Allah Jamal Johnson, 38, of 1501 Perkiomen Avenue, was arrested outside of his residence on Wednesday, Oct. 23 after authorities executed a search warrant, according to the Berks County District Attorney's Office.
An investigation by the Berks County Drug Task Force into Johnson began in August, resulting in a search warrant for his home and his vehicle, a white Buick Regal.

Delco Man Arrested With Drugs, Guns In Months-Long Narc Probe: Police
A Delaware County man was arrested after authorities found drugs, guns, and money in his home following a four-month-long narcotics investigation, police said.
Edward Plumley, 48, of Aldan, was previously identified by the Delaware County Narcotics Task Force as a drug trafficker, according to the Marple Township Police Department.
Plumley, who had been distributing drugs in and around Marple Township, had his residence searched under warrant by the narcotics task force on Thursday, Oct. 10, police said.

Arrest Made In Cedar Beach Park Shooting
Allentown police have arrested a man they say opened fire in a local park Monday, Feb. 21.
Officers were called to Cedar Beach Park on a report of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m., police said.
There were no reported injuries, but shell casings were discovered at the scene, according to police.
An investigation later identified Carlos O. Medina, 25, of Allentown, as the suspected gunman.

A 23-year-old Pennsylvania man was found with a handgun during a traffic stop, leading to the discovery of more than eight pounds of marijuana, authorities said.
Jeremiah Jackson, of Alpine Road in Henryville, PA, was found with a handgun during a traffic stop on South Main Street in Phillipsburg on Dec. 2, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a Friday release.
Jackson was arrested on weapons charges, and a follow-up search of his 2015 Honda Civic turned up 8.5 pounds of raw marijuana, Pfeiffer said.
