PA Police Officer, HS Coach, Arty Erle Dies From Illness
A police officer, high school baseball and wrestling coach, middle school baseball and volleyball coach, as well as the founding member of a non-profit, has died.
Arthur R. “Arty” Erle, 52, of Springfield formerly of Glenolden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, according to his obituary posted by Lombardo Funeral Homes.

Bank Robbery Suspect Sought In Suburban Philly: Police
An accused bank robber is wanted by police in Delaware County in connection with a stickup on Thursday, Oct. 13, authorities say.
The suspect, identified by officials as Robert Joseph Lewis, entered the TD Bank at 2600 MacDade Blvd. at around 2:30 p.m., Glenolden police said. Lewis passed a teller a note demanding cash before fleeing the scene, they added.

Drug Bust: Cocaine, Pot, Guns Seized From DelCo Couple
Authorities in Delaware County have arrested a couple accused of drug dealing and seized cocaine, pot, and guns.
Jamal Rose, 30, and his wife, DaShonna Rose, 30, both of Glenolden, were arrested on several drug-dealing charges, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer announced Thursday, March 17.
Jamal Rose was additionally charged with a felony firearms offense.
The arrests are the result of a month-long investigation by the Delaware County Drug Task Force, in collaboration with the Folcroft and Glenolden Police Departments, they said.
