A Montgomery County man is in police custody and could face up to a $15,000 fine, after travel safety agents say he tried to bring a loaded handgun onto a plane in New York. It happened at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday, March 9, said the Transportation Security Administration in a release. A Montgomery County resident was cited at the Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday, Nov. 12 after a loaded gun was discovered in their luggage, security announced. An Arizona man was arrested by police after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers prevented him from carrying a loaded handgun onto his flight at Philadelphia International Airport. A Berks County man was found with a loaded handgun Thursday at the Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, authorities said.
