Drug Trafficker Sought In Lehigh Valley Found With Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Illegal Gun: Police
A known drug trafficker wanted in the Lehigh Valley area was found with fentanyl, crack cocaine, and an illegal gun, authorities said.
Esau Thomas was stopped in the 200 block of Broadway in Bethlehem during a concentrated enforcement effort on Thursday, Nov. 3, local police said.
Thomas was found with marijuana, leading to the execution of a search warrant at his home on the 500 block of Atlantic Street, where police allegedly found an additional half-pound, as well as fentanyl pills, crack cocaine, and a firearm that wasn’t his.
Thomas was charged accordingly, police said.

A motorcyclist hospitalized after a Lehigh Valley crash in September was arrested on Halloween after a warrant-approved blood draw found him to be under the influence of meth, fentanyl, and alcohol, police said.
David A. Cassidy Jr., 33, was charged with four counts of felony DUI, driving with a blood alcohol level of .02 or high with a suspended license, and various traffic offenses, Slate Belt Regional Police said in a Tuesday, Nov. 1 release.

Feds: Men From Philly, South Jersey Admit Roles In Major Meth, Fentanyl Trafficking Network
UPDATE: A man from Philadelphia and another from South Jersey admitted their roles in a major drug trafficking ring that dealt meth and fentanyl, federal authorities said.
Kevin Salmon, 25, had 5½ pounds of meth and two guns in his home when it was raided by authorities, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.
Salmon had served as a courier for a major drug-trafficking network that "distributed large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl," the U.S. attorney said.
A second defendant, John Munson, 47, of Deptford, admitted selling meth as part of the operation, he said.

Trio Charged With Selling Montco Woman Deadly Drug Combo Of Fentanyl, Horse Tranquilizer
Three people were arrested in connection with the overdose death of a Montgomery County woman, authorities said.
Jonathan Heffren, 27, of Reading; Michael Lavelle, 23, of Plymouth Meeting; and Marrissa Roman, 29, of Douglassville, have been charged with drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver and related charges stemming from the May death of 41-year-old Jessica Martin, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.
