The Marine Mammal Stranding Center (MMSC) said the animal was unlikely to survive, according to a Facebook update posted on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The whale was discovered on Sunset Beach in Lower Township at around 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Dog Found Abandoned And Sick In Berks Has Died, Rescuers Say A dog who was found abandoned and dying on the side of a Berks County road last weekend has died after days of lifesaving efforts by her rescuers, an animal welfare group says.  The dog was found by Berks residents sometime on Sunday, May 7 and quickly turned over to Zoe's House Rescue in Reading to help nurse her back to health, the organization said in a Facebook post.  The dog, named Sadie by the team at Zoe's, was in "rough shape" when at the time of her rescue, the team wrote.
