West Chester Mom Left 3 Kids Home During Drug Overdose, Police Say A mom in West Chester left her three young children home alone while she went out and overdosed, according to West Chester Police Department police. Emily A. McKee, 33, left her children at her at her home in the 100 block of East Gay Street shortly before 11:45 p.m. on March 27. Police were called to the home for a disturbance and found the three children. McKee was located in the 100 block of West Gay Street at the time and “appeared to have been experiencing a drug overdose,” according to officers. The police issued a warrant for her arrest.
