Evacuation Orders Issued After Propane Truck Overturns In Bucks County
Doylestown residents within 2,000 feet of an overturned propane truck were urged to evacuate their homes Monday morning, Oct. 16. The truck crashed along Ferry Road near Old Iron Hill Road sometime before 9:45 a.m., according to police. About an hour later, authorities said the crash had "created a hazardous situation in the area" and everybody within 2,000 was ordered to clear the zone. HazMat Scare Evacuates Bucks County Apartment Complex
Residents of a Doylestown apartment complex were evacuated from their homes Saturday afternoon as emergency workers responded to a possible hazardous materials situation, officials say. Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 received the call at about 12:10 p.m. on April 22, they said in a release. Also on the scene were members of the Bucks County Hazmat Team and "bomb disposal units," the company wrote. Plane Damaged After Landing Short Of Runway At Doylestown Airport
No injuries were reported when a small plane landed short of the runway at Doylestown Airport Monday afternoon. The plane suffered minor damage in the crash around 4:05 p.m., Airport Manager Marcel Bishop said. The plane was not associated with Leading Edge Aviation, the airport operator said. Have photos?
