Bergen County Man Charged With Murdering 3-Month-Old Daughter
A North Arlington man was charged with murder in the death of his and his fiancée’s 3-month-old daughter. Aaron Medrano, 27, initially was charged with aggravated assault and released on Dec. 30, 2021, a week after the child was brought to Hackensack University Medical Center with several injuries. A woman who left her 4-year-old child alone in a car in a handicapped spot outside the Walmart in Garfield was jailed after kicking a police officer, authorities said. Two toddlers were found living in “horrible conditions” in a Warren County hotel with their parents, who were allegedly using a slew of hard drugs in their presence with at least eight other adults, authorities said.
