A man in his 40s was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Snyder Avenue in Philadelphia’s 3rd District, police announced on Wednesday, Dec. 25 at 9:35 p.m. The pedestrian was walking in the bike lane on the 3XX block of Snyder Avenue when he was struck by an unknown tan sedan traveling eastbound, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. A pedestrian was struck dead in Montgomery County on Sunday morning, Oct. 13, according to a Hatfield Police release at 7:20 p.m. The collision happened in the area of 1330 North Broad Street around 6:19 a.m., the police detailed in the release. Officers called to the scene found a 34-year-old man lying "face down in the roadway," as stated in the release. A police officer and two civilians were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. A 45-year-old Easton, PA man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 10:04 p.m., a BMW motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Greenwich Township struck the back of a 2017 Toyota Camry, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was ejected and was subsequently struck by a 2020 Toyota Camry, killing him, Marchan said.
