An off-duty New Jersey police chief is being credited with saving a woman’s life after she became trapped underwater in the Delaware River last month, authorities said. Lebanon Township Police Chief Jason Cronce was nearby on Sunday, Aug. 17, when he saw a woman in distress in the river, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said. The woman had been tubing when she hit rapids and collided with an overhanging tree, the prosecutor said. Philadelphia Man Gets 18 Years Behind Bars For Attempted NJ Sex Attack
A 54-year-old Philadelphia man ∑as sentenced to 18 years in New Jersey state prison for trying to sexually assault a woman walking along a Burlington County roadway, authorities said. The woman in her 50's was walking along Route 73 in Mount Laurel the afternoon of June 6. 2019, when she was grabbed by Donald Cramer Jr., then dragged into a wooded area near the I-295 northbound exit ramp, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
