Patient Sexually Abused By PA Doctor Specializing In Treating Amish: Police
A doctor who specializes in "serving Old Order Amish and Mennonite (Plain) populations," is accused of sexually one of his patients. Vladimir V. Iakomi of Lititz was charged with indecent assault without consent and indecent assault of an unconscious person in connection with an appointment on Saturday, Sept. 30, according to a release by the Pennsylvania State Police the following Monday. 17 Puppies Rescued By Pennsylvania SPCA Over Welfare Concerns
The Pennsylvania SPCA rescued 17 dogs including five unweaned puppies from a Lancaster County property over welfare concerns last week. Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, the PSPCA removed 16 German Shepherd-type dogs and one Siberian Husky from a property on Bell Road home in Christiana last Wednesday, officials said.
