PA Man Charged With Murder After Toddler Found Foaming At Mouth: DA
A 21-month-old child in Kennett Township died after being beaten by an adult man, prosecutors say. Enrique Lopez-Gomez, 20, of West Grove, is charged with third-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and related counts, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office. Authorities said they were called to a home on the 600 block of Cope Road around 11 p.m. Monday, June 24. A 22-year-old man is being held following his arrest for the rape of a pregnant woman in Chester County, police said. Oxford police arrested Elder Delfidio Perez-Alvarado, of Guatemala, on the unit block of S 5th Street around 8 p.m. on April 8, police said. Perez-Alvarado is alleged to have engaged in physical acts to another person and to their unborn child, police said. A 19-year-old from Berks County set a new state record when he caught a 2-pound, 1-ounce white perch in the Delaware River.
