Carjacking Outside Pennsylvania Mosque Leaves Man Dead: Report
A 65-year-old man was shot dead outside of an Upper Darby mosque late on Sunday evening, Oct. 29, 6abc reports. It happened near the Masjid Al Madinah Upper Darby Islamic Center around 7:45 p.m., according to the outlet. The victim, identified by loved ones as Mahabub Rahaman, was shot by armed carjackers during an attempted robbery, 6abc wrote. A 15-year-old boy accused of killing a man who tried to intervene in a South Philadelphia carjacking was captured by US Marshals in Camden, New Jersey on Monday, Aug. 7. A woman was attacked and pinned down during an early-morning carjacking in Philadelphia on Sunday, Aug. 6, city police told Daily Voice. It happened on the 1500 block of Fontain Street a little after midnight, the department said. A man who tried to stop an armed carjacking in Philadelphia late Wednesday night was fatally shot by the would-be thieves, City police told Daily Voice.
